Geez. It can be hard to update sometimes. I feel blocked from writing... I used to write daily back in my Dalex182 days on Xanga. I think I have too many thoughts swirling through my head that when I go to type, they cancel each one out. I just need to take baby steps when it comes to this. Hopefully...eventually...I'll be able to create a routine and focus my writing toward a more productive blog.
So, I'll just say that I saw 'Where The Wild Things Are' tonight. Having never read the book, I wasn't sure what I was heading into. By the end of the film, I felt that it was sad and dark. I'll have to think about it more, but I think it was childhood innocence and having to deal with anger and change... It reminded me of Radio Flyer. Just in the way that each were about when you reach that age as a child when you reach the crossroads of innocence and imagination and how you grow from it. So it's that forced unstoppable change that the character Max in WTWTA angrily runs from... animal cries and all.
